Custom Plugin Development

The Challenge

Save On House Taxes needed more than a marketing website. The business required a custom operational system to validate property owners, generate legal agreement packets, connect CRM data in real time, route emails based on business rules, and support seasonal tax protest workflows.

The existing setup could not handle the volume or complexity of their intake process, and every step from enrollment to document delivery involved manual work that did not scale.

The Solution

I built a three-plugin WordPress ecosystem that handles the full lifecycle:

A core plugin managing enrollment forms, property validation, account number detection (including letter-prefixed formats like Fort Bend R123456), and business-rule routing.

A PDF generator producing dynamic agreement packets with e-signatures, merged documents, and pixel-accurate formatting matching the legal templates.

A CRM bridge plugin syncing client data bidirectionally with Zoho CRM, handling contact creation, deal updates, and status tracking through the Zoho SDK.

Key Deliverables

Three-plugin architecture (soht-core-v2, soht-pdf-generator, kgcrm-zoho)
Dynamic PDF generation with e-signature capture
Zoho CRM bidirectional sync via SDK
REST API endpoints for frontend enrollment flow
HTML email templates with personalization
Diagnostic logging and admin tools
Tax-season business rule engine

The Outcome

A fully automated intake-to-document pipeline that eliminated manual processing, reduced errors in agreement generation, and gave the business a scalable technical foundation — built entirely inside WordPress with no external SaaS dependencies beyond CRM and email.
